February Photo a Day 3 - Strangers
Okay, okay, thats actually me. I was at my school’s ‘Mardival’ Festival. I tried taking pictures of strangers, but the lighting was terrible.
But I did meet a stranger today. His name is Steve and he gave me a Tarot reading. I’m not one for being superstitious but sometimes its really entertaining. Here’s a few things that he read to me:
I’m a nostalgic person, always looking back and wishing more happened in my past. Always envying the things that I could’ve had but don’t.
I take on too many burdens and I have a hard time putting myself first. I always feel like I have to solve everything.
In terms of my future, I am very sure where I want to go. It seems like someone will help me but not without my own strength and perseverance.
However, at the same time, I have doubts and fears about my future as well.
I seem to want a sense of balance and fairness. This is something Steve said came up a lot with law students! He told me how he was at NYU Law last week and how that reading came up all the time.
Overall, Steve said that it was important for me to focus and be happy with what I have and to let go of the thing I don’t. Instead of pulling out my hair for everything I’m not, be thankful for what I am.
I thought it was a good reading. Everything seemed very pertinent to things I’ve gone through recently, a few of my views about the future and some inherent natures of mine. Moreover, I’ll always take some good advice.
